While other manufacturers try to speed up the process of leeching excess salts and other unwelcome elements from the medium with harsh chemical washes and steaming that destroys natural beneficial microbial life, we super wash our coco and allow to slow compost, increasing beneficial microbial life, while naturally removing excess sodium, tannin, and chloride.
