Coco Peat is a premium, certified organic, OMRI Listed growing medium and superior alternative to peat moss. Coir is the coarse fibers and sponge like pith material that make up the thick husk of the coconut fruit. At our factory in the interior of Sri Lanka selected husks are first soaked to soften and then shredded to extract the valuable coir fiber and pith. The material is then screened to separate coarse fiber from short fiber and pith. The screened coco pith is then washed and composted to make our Premium Coco Peat.

Directions for Use:

* Lay block down flat somewhere with good drainage.

* Slowly pour 1 gallon of warm water over block allowing water to absorb without runoff.

* Let block sit for 30-40 minutes.

*Break apart with hands until light and spongy. The warmer the water the faster and easier.

*Do not use hot water over 100 deg.
